YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS NETWORK, GHANA CHAPTER (Connecting minds, shaping Global Policies)
Today, our world continues to face a lot of challenges and Ghana is no exception. Poverty and rural-urban migration, youth unemployment, climate change, lack of access to education for sustainability, poor air and water sanitation, low access to portable drinking water, high population growth, Hunger, gender inequality, etc.
The talent, drive, and innovation of educated and empowered women is key to addressing these challenges and achieving a better Ghana, Africa and a better World however women are still the most marginalized in the society and has potentials still untapped.
Ghana has ambitious policies on gender equity but is struggling to realise them.
The Young Global Leaders Network Inc. Ghana Chapter is an international youth leadership development organization focused on empowering emerging young women leaders and provides a unique platform for forward- thinking accomplished women leaders in diplomacy, politics, business, etc. determined to create better future for women and initiate positive change on a large scale in Ghana.
The organization operates as a non- governmental organization in Ghana, with the goal of raising young aspiring women leaders, provide highest standard of knowledge and skills sharing, increase participation and representation of young women leaders in politics, STEM, provide high level of networking, provide mentorship and skills training for the next generation of women leaders.
The YGLN – Ghana Chapter will focus on seven core areas where there are urgent challenges and exciting potential for aspiring and accomplished young women leaders to take action, and reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

The Young Global Leaders Network has its Head office in Ghana and is legally registered in seven (7) countries and operates in twenty-five (25) African Countries.
